 21 July 2008 - How many peaches do you think are on one tree? When the peaches are small, the farmer will thin them. That means pinch off a few of the young peaches. This is to prevent over-crowding, and lets the peaches that are left on the tree get bigger in size than they would have if all of the little peaches were left on the tree. |
