 13 April 2008 - The soil was prepared about 18" deep. Compost was added, as well as additives to increase the acidity of the soil (blueberries like acid soil). Then the plants were put in, and drip irrigation was placed on both sides of each plant. Plant roots and hose were then covered with a top coat of mulch. This should give them a good chance to get established and do well. |
