20 Nov. 2005 - This machine hooked up to Farmers Ben’s tractor is called a Balebuster. The large, rough bales of straw are loaded into the machine (see drawn in bale) and turned around and ripped apart by the machine as the tractor goes up and down the rows of a strawberry field. The straw is a little “winter blanket” to protect the dormant strawberry plants from the cold, wind and snow. |
