 Mid-July 2003 - Tomato blossom. I'm SO impressed with blossoms, since every blossom turns into a fruit or vegetable. (Yes, tomatoes are, technically, a fruit). These tomato plants LOVE the hot summer heat. The plants also have their own unique smell, and when I pick tomatoes, my hands gets a yellow tinge and have that tomato plant aroma. |
